<p class="text">I&#8217;m a big fan of <a href="http://www.theexternalworld.com/" target="_blank">The External World</a>, directed by David OReilly. On first sight there really is no describing this 3D animation short. After a while, however, you&#8217;ll see that OReilly reflects on popular culture in his own brilliant way. The short premiered at the 67th Venice Film Festival in 2011 and has won multiple awards since then.</p>

<p class="text">The English indie-band White Lies are known for their dark sound. Their latest album &#8220;Rituals&#8221; holds some nice songs, but the remixes of these songs appear to be far more interesting. A good example is <a href="http://soundcloud.com/stinomg/white-lies-bigger-than-us" target="_blank">this</a> remix of the song &#8220;Bigger Than Us&#8221; by Belgian formation Stylo DJ&#8217;s, which won the Studio Brussel remix competition. The Holy Other remix of &#8220;Strangers&#8221; is outstanding.
