I’m a big fan of The External World, directed by David OReilly. On first sight there really is no describing this 3D animation short. After a while, however, you’ll see that OReilly reflects on popular culture in his own brilliant way. The short premiered at the 67th Venice Film Festival in 2011 and has won multiple awards since then.

White Lies Remixes

The English indie-band White Lies are known for their dark sound. Their latest album “Rituals” holds some nice songs, but the remixes of these songs appear to be far more interesting. A good example is this remix of the song “Bigger Than Us” by Belgian formation Stylo DJ’s, which won the Studio Brussel remix competition. Other good examples can be found through here. The Holy Other remix of “Strangers” is outstanding. Just visit YouTube if want to check out more remixes, including ones from their debut album “To Lose My Life”.
