Oh, the nostalgia…
The English indie-band White Lies are known for their dark sound. Their latest album “Rituals” holds some nice songs, but the remixes of these songs appear to be far more interesting. A good example is this remix of the song “Bigger Than Us” by Belgian formation Stylo DJ’s, which won the Studio Brussel remix competition. Other good examples can be found through here. The Holy Other remix of “Strangers” is outstanding. Just visit YouTube if want to check out more remixes, including ones from their debut album “To Lose My Life”.
You’ve got to love the sarcasm in this one. Rolling Stone magazine circa 2002. If only they would have listened. (Via the wicked Sir Mitchell)
There is only one thing you should do before listening to this song. Turn the volume way up. Bounce.
